Roger

My story

If you're looking for a mellow, loving pup who just wants to be near you—Roger might be your perfect match. Roger is a seven-year-old, 20-pound Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love. He adores belly rubs (he’ll politely show you by rolling onto his back with a hopeful look in his eyes), and he’s always happiest when he’s cozied up next to his person. Roger is a healthy little guy with plenty of pep. He has been on lots of adventures with his foster family, including frolicking in the snow! He is being fostered in an apartment setting with other dogs and has been around a toddler with no issues. Roger is completely potty trained and does his business on walks. Roger thrives in a calm home and would do best with someone who works from home or is around much of the day. He’s very connected to his person and finds comfort in simply being nearby. With time and patience, however, he may be able to adjust to spending more time alone. Roger enjoys both long and short walks and is good on the leash. He can get along with other dogs, but he will need a gradual introduction. Roger can be reactive (barking) to other dogs during walks.
