Lila, Jenkintown PS (FCID# 03/28/2025-168)

My story

Lila was living in an alley in Norristown behind the house where she used to live. Her owner moved away and left her behind. She explored the area looking for food and shelter. No place seemed safe and there was never enough food. Now she was pregnant. Where could she have her kittens and how would she feed them?  She was wary of strangers and eluded the Forgotten Cats volunteer who was trying to catch her. Finally hunger drew her into a trap. Now at about 4 years of age she's spayed, vaccinated and ready for a fresh start with a family that will love  her forever. She will happily receive pets, often arching her back a little higher or lifting her head to make sure you know just how much she wants the attention. Lila enjoys being held and can easily be cuddled into your arms or slung over your shoulder! She has a playful side, too, and will pounce on nearly any toy you toss her direction. She's also fond of exploring new heights and spaces.  &#226&#128&#139We do not know how she would respond to dogs, but maybe OK around children with proper introduction. She seems to be good around other cats.
