Hi, my name is Phoebe! I was rescued from a high-volume shelter. I'm still young, estimated DOB 8/13/2024 and probably have some hound, terrier, boxer, lab and who knows exactly what else is in my ancestry. I'm learning so much at my foster home with other dogs and kids and I love everyone. I start out very shy in new surroundings, but then I bond strongly to my people. Everyone who knows me says I'm a very sweet girl. I weigh around 32 pounds, so I'll probably be a medium sized adult. I'm good with other dogs and respectful kids. I love to play with toys and other dogs. I'm working on my house manners and making great progress, but my new owner will need to continue my training so that with time and patience I'll be a best bud you are looking for! If you are interested in me, please send an email to SCP! Applications can be found on our website at secondchancepets.org under the "Forms" tab. Please complete and return to SCP for review! All dogs typically show on Saturdays from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Petco in Clear Lake at 2410 Bay Area Blvd near Space Center. Since all our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you are interested in meeting me or any of the other dogs listed on our site before you fill out an application then please send an email to scpdogworld@gmail.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if the dog will be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco. If you just want to meet some great dogs looking for their forever home, please come visit with us on Saturday! The adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies). All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. May 16, 2025, 9:10 am
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Phoebe, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
