My story

At just 10 months old and 43 lbs, Jewel is a young pittie mix with a quiet charm and the sweetest soul. She's a little reserved at first, but offer her a treat and a kind voice, and you’ll start to see her beautiful personality sparkle. Jewel is a gentle and sensitive pup who’s still learning to feel safe and confident in new environments. She walks nicely on leash, checks in with her people, and enjoys calm interactions. She’s still figuring out toys and treats outdoors, but inside, with a little patience and consistency, she’s sure to blossom. In dog playgroups, Jewel is relaxed and polite—happy to trot alongside other dogs or just do her own thing. She’d do well with a calm, well-matched dog buddy or as a solo pup with a human who understands that slow and steady wins the trust. Jewel is best suited to a quieter home without young children, where she can build confidence and feel secure at her own pace. With time, love, and a little positive reinforcement training, Jewel will absolutely shine.
