My story

Meet Lunar! Lunar is a deeply sensitive soul who’s been through more than we know. At 4 and a half years old, he’s not just shy—he’s scared. Shelter life is overwhelming for him, and right now, Lunar is feeling distressed, uncertain, and afraid. He’s not ready to be held, petted, or even approached quickly. What he needs most is time, space, and someone who can see past his fear to the heart beneath it. Lunar isn’t aggressive—just truly overwhelmed. He spends most of his time hiding, doing his best to stay invisible in a world that currently feels too loud and too fast. But even in his fear, there’s something fragile and beautiful about him. With the right person—someone calm, quiet, and endlessly patient—there is hope that Lunar can begin to heal. If you are interested in Lunar, please call us here at (401)846-8276.
