My story

Introducing Moira! She was brought to the shelter with ID and a pretty pink collar with bow on 4/9 because she was lost on an adventure. He former pet parents were contacted but they chose to sign her over. Moira is only 7 years old and weighs a mere 62lbs. The volunteers describe her as a wonderful, nice dog who is very sweet, cute, and obedient. She is an intelligent young lady as she knows basic commands such as sit when asked and she may know more. Please take some time and visit with her in Run 80; her ID is 9276. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Moira is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Moira is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
