Meet Hazel – Sweet Tabby Girl with a Gentle SoulHazel is a gorgeous 4-month-old tabby kitten with a soft spirit and a big personality once she feels safe. Rescued from behind the courthouse in Hartford, Hazel has come a long way from her early days of uncertainty. She’s currently thriving in foster care, where she’s learned that people can be pretty wonderful—especially if they’re handing out treats or ear scritches!Hazel started off shy, but with love and patience, she’s truly blossomed. These days, she loves chatting with her foster mom and will often jump into the chair next to her for some quality hangout time. Whether it’s to supervise work or just be near her favorite human, Hazel’s gentle presence is always a joy.Hazel is bonded with her sister Harlow, and the two are an adorable duo who bring out the best in each other. Hazel’s growing confidence has helped Harlow come out of her shell too, and they can often be found cuddled up or playfully chasing each other around the house.Hazel would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can continue building trust and showing off her chatty, affectionate side. If you're looking for a sweet pair of sisters who will fill your home with purrs, conversation, and love, Hazel and Harlow are ready to meet you.Hazel is:4 months oldA beautiful brown tabbySpayed, vaccinated, and healthyBonded with her sister Harlow (they must be adopted together)Initially shy, but very affectionate once she knows youA total chatterbox and chair buddyReady to welcome this lovely little lady (and her best friend Harlow) into your life? Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Please consider fostering a cat or dog by applying on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/
