Meet Harlow – Sleek, Shy, and Sweet as Can BeHarlow is a beautiful 4-month-old black kitten with a silky coat and a tender heart. Rescued from behind the courthouse in Hartford alongside her sister Hazel, Harlow has been slowly learning the comforts of indoor life in a loving foster home. While she’s still more cautious than her sister, Harlow is making steady progress every day. She’s not a fan of being picked up just yet, but she absolutely enjoys gentle pets and will happily snuggle up next to Hazel for long cozy naps. Her quiet nature is paired with playful curiosity—wave a wand toy her way and you’ll see her inner kitten come alive!Harlow is deeply bonded to her sister Hazel, who gives her confidence and comfort in new situations. The two are rarely far apart and would love to find a home where they can continue growing together. Hazel’s outgoing nature helps Harlow feel secure, and their bond is truly something special.Harlow would do best in a patient, peaceful home with adopters who will give her time to blossom at her own pace. In return, she’ll reward you with trust, quiet companionship, and those heart-melting kitten eyes.Harlow is:4 months oldSleek black with a glossy coatSpayed, vaccinated, and healthyBonded with her sister Hazel (they must be adopted together)Still cautious, but enjoys gentle petsLoves wand toy play and napping with HazelNot a fan of being picked up (yet!)If you believe love is something you build slowly with time and care, Harlow (and her sister Hazel) might just be your perfect match. 💕This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Please consider fostering a cat or dog by applying on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/
