My story

Hi, I’m Ranger! I’m a pretty chill pup with a fun, bouncy side. My activity level is a nice balance — I enjoy getting outside and going on walks (seriously, I bounce with excitement when I see my harness), but I’m also perfectly happy to hang out and relax afterward.Right now, I’m living in a foster home with another dog who’s about my size. We get along well — nothing wild, just some polite sniffing and peaceful coexistence. I’ve also met new people and I’m usually excited and curious to say hello! Some of my favorite things include walks, cuddling, and playing with my toys — and after I’m done playing, I like to roll around on top of my toy before snuggling up with it. It’s kind of my signature move! I also love being pet and will come looking for some attention if you`re not giving it already. The only thing I’m not a fan of? The vacuum. That noisy monster is just not my vibe, so I prefer to hide until it goes away (can you blame me?).I’m still getting settled, but I think my perfect family would be one that enjoys a little adventure — maybe some walks or hikes — and also appreciates some quality couch time. I’m the kind of pup who’s up for a good time and a good nap. I’m a calm, loyal buddy who loves to explore the world by your side. We recently went on a walk along the BeltLine recently, and let me tell you—I crushed it. We passed all kinds of dogs, and I stayed totally cool. Even when one barked and lunged at me, I just kept my focus on my person. No drama here—I’m all about the good vibes.I love being outside and getting in some movement, but I’m also very tuned in to my human. Whether we’re strolling through the city or just relaxing at home, I’m happiest when we’re together.I’m all about fetch—sticks, balls, toys… you name it, I’ll chase it! If it’s something you can throw, I’m your pup. I’d play fetch forever if you let me, and when it’s finally time to go home, I like to carry my stick or toy all the way back in my mouth—gotta bring my prize with me! I’m always ready for the next throw, tail wagging and eyes locked on the prize. Let’s play!If you`re looking for a dog who’s got great manners, a steady temperament, and a strong bond with his person, I might be your guy. Let’s go on our next adventure together! If that sounds like your kind of buddy, I’d love to meet you!
