My story

Meet Apollo! (But he’ll also answer to Pollo, Shamu, Polly, or Olly—he’s not picky!) Apollo is a sweet, 3-year-old American Staffordshire mix with a heart as big as his nicknames list. This lovable guy is crate and potty trained, walks great on a leash, and already knows his manners—sit and come are his specialties! He currently lives with kids (ages 8 and 13), and he’s been a respectful housemate to the family cat. His best buddy? His dad, who lets him snuggle on the couch—Apollo’s favorite spot to nap after zooming around the yard. He’s not one for toys, but give him a Benebone and he’s a happy camper. While Apollo is a laid-back guy around the house, car rides make him pretty nervous, so he'd much rather hang out at home than be your road trip companion. If you're looking for a loyal, couch-cuddling, bone-chewing best friend who loves a good mix of laps and naps, Apollo might just be your perfect match. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. To apply directly for Apollo click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-653 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Apollo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
