My story

Romaine is a total sweetheart with a face that could melt the toughest heart—seriously, he’s got the saddest puppy eyes you’ve ever seen. But behind that forlorn expression is a friendly, affectionate guy who’s just waiting for someone to turn his frown upside down. Romaine knows sit and paw, and he’s a pro at catching treats mid-air—he’ll even throw in a little lean for extra charm. He adores attention from his people and enjoys making new friends on his walks. With his lovable personality and those heart-tugging looks, Romaine is ready to be your favorite reason to smile.To meet our available animals, visit our Northside shelter locations any day between 1–6 pm.
