Meet Toast – the Sweetest Slice of Love! Toast is a young tabico (that’s part tabby, part calico!) with a stunning, one-of-a-kind coat and an even more beautiful heart. This gentle girl has been through a lot—she was heartbreakingly abandoned by her previous owner and left to fend for herself just before a major snowstorm. But despite it all, Toast remains full of love and trust. She’s incredibly sweet and never stops purring—seriously, she’s a little motor of contentment. Toast adores being pet and is happiest when she’s soaking up your affection. While she’s a bit cuddly, she’s more of a “pet me, please!” kind of cat than one who actively seeks playtime. Toast could happily be your one and only, but she also gets along just fine with other cats. She hasn’t been around dogs or kids, but she doesn’t seem bothered by the sound of a crying baby, which says a lot about her chill personality. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who just wants a cozy place to call home and a loving human to pet her endlessly, Toast is ready to warm your heart (and your lap). Toast is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Toast, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
