My story

Elena’s journey hasn’t been easy, but her resilience and loving nature shine through. Found astray in Long Beach, she was brought to us in February 2025 in desperate need of care. She arrived with open sores on her legs, significant hair loss from a flea infestation, and was later confirmed to be FIV+. The vet estimates that she is around 2-3 years old and believes she likely contracted FIV from a fight with another infected cat while living on the streets. Through it all, she has remained an incredibly sweet and affectionate companion. She loves gentle pets, enjoys lounging in cozy spots, and never says no to a good meal. Her calm and loving personality makes her the perfect companion for a quiet home. Due to her FIV+ status, Elena would thrive in a single-cat household or in a home with other FIV+ cats.
