Meet Willow! Willow is a gentle, affectionate pup who’s looking for a home where she can be the center of attention. Weighing in at about 55 pounds, this gorgeous tan and white sweetheart is looking for a quiet home where she can live out her golden years in peaceful, doggy bliss!Willow loves her treats and will happily give you a sit or down or even do a little hop to earn a tasty reward! Though she isn’t particularly interested in toys, she absolutely thrives on human interaction and prefers bonding with her people over playtime!Willow has met other dogs and does best with calm, older canine companions. She would likely do best as the only dog in the home or with a laid-back dog who matches her calm vibe.Willow would thrive in a calm, affectionate environment where she can be close to people who will appreciate a loyal doggo that just wants to love and be loved! If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion with a heart of gold, Willow might just be the perfect match! Additionally, Willow`s adoption is fee-waived, AND she is going home with a $500 credit at Pender Veterinary Practice for continuing care, thanks to our Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staffIf you`d like to meet our available animals, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption
