My story

Meet Blue Jay! Blue Jay is a stunning catahoula mix puppy, all 61# of her! She was pulled from a shelter where she was marked for euthanasia because she completely shut down after her sister was adopted. However, once in her foster mom’s house, she rapidly morphed into a very happy, energetic, intelligent & playful pup. She might be shy upon initial meeting, but rapidly warms up. She loves everyone & thing: children, dogs of all sizes, cats, toys, & FOOD. If not kept busy, she will use her tall/leggy body & smarts for evil, counter surfing at extraordinary heights. She is not yet the most confident critter, gets absolutely crushed by a raised voice. For this reason, a confident dog buddy would be ideal.
