Meet Monty – The Heartthrob in a Fur Coat! Monty isn’t just a dog—he’s a full-blown experience. This 2-year-old Terrier/American Pit Bull mix has a special talent: stealing hearts the moment you lay eyes on him. With a smile that melts stress and a gaze that says “you’re my person,” Monty doesn’t need flashy tricks to win you over—but he’s got them anyway, just to show off a bit. Monty came into our care at HSSM on April 5th, 2025, after being picked up as a stray in Gulfport. And while it’s hard to believe this gentleman ever wandered without a home, we’re grateful he found his way to us so we can help him find the forever family he deserves. This handsome boy is the total package—he walks like a dream on a leash, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and greets every human he meets like a long-lost friend. Rub his belly once, and you’ll have a fan for life. Monty’s also a camera-ready model, whether he’s striking a regal pose or hamming it up with his signature goofy grin. Think of him as part class clown, part dashing gentleman—because why choose when you can be both?Monty is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and will be neutered upon adoption if not already done. He is heartworm positive, but don’t let that deter you—our HSSM clinic offers payment plans and treatment support to ensure Monty’s road to health is smooth and affordable.
