My story

    About Me  Storm is an approximately 4-month-old lab mix who loves to cuddle with his humans. He loves nothing better than laying his head on your lap and getting petted. He is also a very smart, friendly, and active dog, who also loves running and playing. He is a very fast runner!  He is a very easily trainable dog who picks up new activities easily. Potty training has gone well, and he has had only a few accidents in the house over the last few weeks. Storm has mastered the doggie door!  At night Storm has been sleeping in a crate next to his foster’s bed. He sleeps through the night with no issues. He also can be left alone for short periods of time with no signs of separation anxiety.  According to Storm’s foster mom:” Storm is the easiest puppy I have ever seen! He is really smart!” Storm is ready for his forever home, where he can continue to blossom into an outstanding dog.  My Ideal Home  For Storm, we are looking for someone who is either home most of the time and can provide him with human companionship while he grows into an adult dog and learns how to be a good canine citizen. We need someone who is committed to training as he has so much potential to be the most amazing dog, and we want to make sure he gets a chance to reach his full potential.  Want to Adopt me?  If you are interested in Storm, please make sure you have first submitted your online application and had your In-Home Interview completed by one of our volunteers. If these steps are completed then tell us more about your home, family and what Storms life would be like with you via email at tenspiceycanines@gmail.com . In your email, if you have been waiting an extended period of time to adopt one of our dogs, please let us know how long and which dogs you’ve applied for. Our goal is to find the best fit for each dog, while also helping our adopters find the best fit for their home.  Due to his young age, the Storm has not yet been neutered. We think he is best off being placed in his forever home from a young age so are adopting him out before this is complete. You will be asked to follow a very strict protocol on vaccinations and spay/neuter provided by SCGRR. You will be given specific time frame for the spay/neuter, and you will need to provide proof that you followed this protocol. A refundable deposit of $500 will be collected to ensure the Storm is neutered.
