My story

How this pet arrived: Precious was brought in by her previous owner on April 10, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Say g'day to Precious! She's a little lady with a big heart who's looking for a quiet home where the daily drama is limited to "what flavor of Temptations is on the menu today?" Precious was feeling a bit overwhelmed in her last home - too many other cats, too many changes, and not enough peace and quiet! She's a bit fearful and needs her own space, so she's looking for a no-pet palace (that means no other kitties or dogs, please!) and a family with older kids who can be calm, gentle, and give her the time she needs to feel safe. To help her settle in, start her off in a "Precious Palace" - that's a cozy room all to herself. Add a hidey hut, a sunny spot, and maybe hum her a gentle tune (she'll only slightly judge your singing). Give her space, go at her pace, and let her come to you when she's ready. Precious has had a few litter box whoopsies, but we're here to help you help her succeed! Give her multiple litter boxes, keep them sparkling clean, and be open to trying different types of litter to find her perfect match. (She has opinions. She's a cat.) If you're more about blankets and books than raves and rambunctiousness, Precious might just be the perfect quiet-time companion.
