Rowena (AKA Froggi)

My story

Rowena is a sweet and gentle 30-pound pup who needs a hero! She has a condition called Megaesophagus, so she needs to be upright while eating, drinking, and for about 30 minutes after meals. She’s on a soft, special diet and is fed four times a day. Don’t worry — we’ll provide tips and support to make it all manageable, and we’re working on getting her a special feeding chair.Rowena may be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a loving, loyal companion. She will need lifelong care, but the love she gives in return is truly priceless.She gets along with other dogs and does okay with cats — she’s curious at first, but settles with slow introductions.If you can offer Rowena a safe, caring home, we’d love to hear from you!
