Baklava

My story

Hi there! My names Baklava, a retired street cat looking for my forever home! Despite my retirement, I still remain cautious of the world around me, and take a while getting used to new places and people. But for those who do take the time, they’ll find a wealth of personality under my tough exterior! When I’m not napping underneath someone’s bed, you can find me clawing my favorite card board scratcher or waiting not so patiently by my food bowl! I love meal time and am not afraid to let you know when I’m hungry (which is always) with my many meows. While I like my personal space, I love to hang out from a distance and watch my people go about their days! If you’re lucky, I may even rub affectionately against your leg and or lick your toes to get your attention! As for the future, my foster moms think I’d do best in a single pet household without children and a patient owner willing to let me open up at my own pace to be the best companion I can!
