Meet Kagome! Silvery, swirly Grey Maine Coon | 1 Year Old | Female | Available for Adoption Kagome’s story is one of heartbreak, strength, and hope. HDBNQ originally rescued this beauty from the Sacramento Animal Shelter six months ago, and Kagome was adopted and whisked away, hopeful for the love and stability she so deserved. But life had another twist in store. A few months after someone adopted her from us, Kagome was found wandering the streets of Daly City—now a young mother with six newborn kittens. When a Good Samaritan posted her photo online, we immediately recognized her unique silvery markings and rushed to bring her back to safety. Despite attempts to contact her former adopter, our messages have gone unanswered. Kagome’s kittens are now weaned and heading to loving homes of their own, and it's her turn—again. Kagome is a gentle soul with a striking silvery coat and the soft, majestic fluff typical of her Maine Coon roots. She is affectionate but not demanding, observant and wise beyond her years.
