If so please hit the "adopt me" button and let’s get our family started.My foster mom says:- I'm such a sweet gal who gives kisses,- I'm really calm and a little nervous at first,- I'm a great lover of people and dogs, just taking it slow since I'm learning my way,- I saw a cat and geese close up & only looked at them curiously. I don't seem to have a prey drive.- I'm crate trained and whine when I need to go out,- I love looking out of the window and sometimes I’m a cuddler. I love to be near my people. This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. OPH will treat the dog and provide two weeks of recovery time prior to adoption. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH’s heartworm coordinator.
