ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/14284Name: DustyGender: FemaleBreed: Lab MixAge: 3 yr old (DOB: 2/13/22)Weight: 41 lbsCurrent Location: York, PAMEET DUSTY - A Sweetie Pie Who is Ready to Blow Into Your Life Like a Happy Little Tornado of Love, Fluff, and Zoomies! SEE ME IN ACTION! here PERSONALITYDusty is a skilled sniffer with a nose that is always on the job, and she absolutely loves a challenge. Snuffle mats, treat puzzles, or hide-and-seek games? Count her in! Dusty is a smart cookie who enjoys working for snacks and solving problems. Dusty gets the zoomies and will make you laugh with her goofy, happy energy. Life is meant to be lived with enthusiasm, and Dusty brings it every day! Dusty has a talent for shredding stuffed toys in ten seconds flat. Her foster mom considers it performance art and suggests that if you’re emotionally attached to a stuffed toy, maybe keep it out of Dusty’s reach!COMPANIONSHIPWhen she’s done zooming, Dusty is just right for cuddling on the couch or joining you on adventures. She follows her foster mom all around and breaks into total wiggle-butt mode when she is happy. In fact, Dusty gets super excited to receive just about any loving attention. TRAINING AND LEARNINGDusty is potty trained. She is doing very well with her leash training and hardly pulls on the leash at all. Pop a leash on her and she is eager to join you on a walk. She is still getting used to her crate. She’ll bark for a while in there but then settles down nicely, especially if she has bones and other chewies or toys to help keep her occupied. Dusty is good with other dogs her size and will play enthusiastically with them, but she’ll need some training to help her keep her prey drive in check if she is with small dogs. Dusty’s foster mom says cats are iffy, so it’s probably best to keep Dusty away from felines. LOVE AND AFFECTIONDusty is a total love bug. She gives kisses freely, snuggles like a pro, and just wants to be near her humans. She’ll never turn down a good scratch on her neck or below her chin. She also has a belly for rubbing and will roll over to show you just the right spot. IDEAL HOMEDusty is great with other dogs her size and she loves to play, but she can be a bit too rough for small dogs, so she would do best in a home that does not have small dogs. Dusty’s foster is not sure how Dusty would be with cats. Dusty’s silly style of play includes her being a little mouthy when she gets excited so, she might not be the best fit for homes with small children. Dusty’s foster mom wants you to know that Dusty sheds a lot so if you’re cool with a little extra fluff in your life, you’ll get along just fine.Could you be Dusty’s forever person? She promises to fill your life with love, laughter, and lots (and lots) of fur.Included Veterinary Care:Visit to Veterinarian: Health certificate includedVaccinations: Up to date for her ageSpay/NeuteredMicrochippedHeartworm PreventativeFlea and Tick PreventativeWorm/Parasite Treatments
