My story

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/14326Meet Frodo – Snack Seeker, Toy Enthusiast, and Certified GoofballName: FrodoGender: MaleBreed: Beagle MixAge: 5 yearsWeight: 33 lbsCurrent Location: King William, VAAbout FrodoFrodo is a fun-loving, food-chasing, toy-obsessed beagle mix who’s on a journey to find his forever family (preferably one with snacks). At 5 years old and 33 lbs, Frodo is the perfect combo of spunky and snuggly.See me in action: Click here to see me in foster home! Click here Being a good boy an adoption event! Why You’ll Love Frodo:- Food Motivated (to say the least!) – He lives for mealtime and may try to sneak a snack or two (or ten) off the counter when you’re not looking.- Energetic & Playful – Frodo has the heart of a pup and will happily chase toys until the sun goes down… or until you run out of toys.- Great with Other Dogs – He loves his foster siblings and knows how to make furry friends.- Kid-Friendly – Has met children and liked them just fine—especially if they came bearing treats.- Clever & Trainable – Frodo’s love of food makes him a great candidate for training (just keep those treats coming!).A Few Things to Know:- Frodo is currently working on manners—he’s a champion counter surfer and mealtime enthusiast, so he’ll need consistent boundaries and training.- His hound instincts are strong, especially when it comes to sniffing out snacks.- He’ll be happiest in a home that appreciates his zest for life, sense of humor, and ever-growing toy collection.Included Veterinary Care:Frodo is up to date on all his medical care, including:✔ Health certificate from a veterinarian✔ Up-to-date vaccinations appropriate for his age✔ Neutered✔ Microchipped✔ Heartworm preventative✔ Flea & tick preventative✔ Worm/parasite treatmentsFrodo is ready to bring laughter, love, and lots of tail wags into your life. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy companion who’s always down to party (and by party, we mean eat and play), Frodo’s your guy!----This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Read about heartworm disease here: Read more about heartworm disease here here

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Frodo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
