My story

Personality: smart, goofy/funny, playful, and energetic. Meet Hutch, a sweet and loving pup! This smart boy is house trained, eager to learn, and already knows the words "sit" and "down." His favorite activity is going for long walks outside where he can get his fill of sniffs. At a year and a half old, Hutch still has some puppy tendencies and is looking for a forever home that will commit to helping him continue to learn his manners. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
