My story

Meet Koda! Koda is a one-of-a-kind girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for toys! This smart and spirited pup came to CAHS after not getting along with the other dog in her previous home, so she’s looking for a place where she can be the only dog and soak up all the love and attention. Koda is incredibly intelligent and thrives when her mind is kept busy. She would do best with an active person who can give her plenty of exercise and engage her with fun training or enrichment activities — she’s always up for a challenge! During her time at the shelter, Koda began a health journey and was diagnosed with two autoimmune conditions: Pannus and Plasmoma, which affect her eyes. She receives a special ointment once a day to manage her symptoms and keep her feeling her best — and she’s been doing great with her routine! If you’re looking for a loyal, lively companion who will keep you smiling and on your toes, Koda might just be your perfect match.
