It's pretty impossible not to love Brie! Brie is estimated to be around 4 months old and is a darling girl, always on the lookout for some fun! With her big ears and sweet face, she is quick to make you fall in love. She is the most mellow of her litter and would be a great moderate-energy companion for a semi-active family. Brie weighs about 20lbs, and we estimate she will be around 50-60lbs when fully grown. Brie and the rest of her cheese-named siblings were transferred to us from another rescue, BONES. BONES is located in a rural part of Northern California where there is a large population of stray and feral dogs. They work to rescue moms and puppies and abandoned litters of puppies off the streets and send them to other rescues who can help get them adopted. Brie and her siblings were found as strays without their mom. They have been thriving in foster care ever since and are looking for individual homes so they can get the one-on-one care they need. Brie is the lovebug of the group and loves some cuddles after a day of play. Other than cuddles, her favorite activities include wrestling with her sister and exploring the backyard. She has been acing her basic manners training and needs a family dedicated to continuing her training to help her be the best girl she can be. Brie can be a little shy, especially away from her siblings, so she would love a family that can help her gain some confidence. She loves to be with her people and can't wait to start her life making memories with her fur-ever family. Brie loves other dogs, and she would love another playful pup in her new home to help mentor her and so she always has someone to romp around with. Brie has done well living with a cat and could do well with a dog-savvy cat in her new home with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Fontina could make a wonderful addition to a family with kids 7 years and older. Brie has been doing great with her housetraining and knows how to use a dog door. She is still not 100% trained and may have accidents while adjusting to a new routine and environment, so her new family will need to be patient with her and help her learn. Brie has been doing very well with her crate training and is comfortable sleeping through the night in her crate and being crated during the day for short periods. If Brie sounds like the little sweetheart you need by your side, submit an application today! Brie's adoption fee is $350. Apply to adopt here! https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/ Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org) It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. For more information about an animal, please email dogs@yolospca.org. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org. April 10, 2025, 3:58 pm
