My story

Meet Keena! She is a 1 yr old spayed female Retriever/Lab that weighs 36lbs She came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 4/10 as a stray. This sweet girl has such a zest for life. She enjoys going for walks, taking in all the smells and will look up at you with a big smile on her face the entire times. She found the toy box and found a few squeaky toys and balls to play with. Keena loves to be petted and takes treats gently. She appears to have been well cared for, and has such a shiny soft coat. As we walked past other dogs that were barking at her, she barked at one, but not others. If there will be another dog in the home, please ask the shelter for a dog test. She would love to have an active family that would take her for walks, have a secured backyard to run and play in, but come back inside to be close to her human companions. She has such a lovely personality you just have to come meet her!
