P is for Pterodactyl

My story

P is for Pterodactyl is a sweet mama who is enjoying a break after birthing and taking care of 6 adorable puppies. She absolutely loves humans and is great with kids. She is submissive to her foster's resident dog but with each day is becoming more playful! She has been charming every human she meets. P is about three years old and is on the smaller side. She has some lab features and her foster wonders if there is some chihuahua in there too. She is fully potty trained. The foster has been keeping P in a large pen with access to a crate when not at home and at night but is happy to see how she does crated. P walks well on a leash but does pull a little so we are working on walking manners. Pterodactyl has tested positive for heart worms and WTAR will cover the cost of her treatment (if you bring her to the amazing Dr B and vet team at Wolf Trap). She has already started her treatment. Adoption Day: May 10th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM — an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Some pups may stick around until 12:00 PM for the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun!  ##2315334##
