My story

Say “Hello” to Fiona, our little 4 yo bichon mix, who is a retired breeding momma looking for a new life. She is a beautiful, shy, gentle and sometimes silly, 20 lb little girl trying her best to over come her past, her fears and learn how to just be a beloved pet.    We don’t know much about her background or why she is so afraid of humans and the world around her but one thing she is not scared of is her fellow doggie playmates. She loves cuddling with them and follows them where ever they go. She loves running around outside in the yard, treats and FOOD! Whether it is her dinner, or something I am willing to share with the pups, she is right there next to her foster siblings waiting patiently for something to come her way. Fiona is progressing slowly and coming out of her shell, but it has taken time. Fiona is looking for her new home where she can continue her progress.  Fiona’s Must-Haves: Fully Fenced-In Yard: Fiona isn’t leash-trained yet and isn’t ready for walks, so a secure yard is essential for her safety and comfort. Another Small Dog (Under 12 lbs): Fiona deeply relies on the companionship of another calm, gentle dog. Having a furry buddy gives her confidence and comfort — it’s truly non-negotiable for her. A Quiet, Calm Home: Loud noises, chaos, or a busy household are too overwhelming for her. Fiona needs a serene environment where she can feel safe. Patient, Understanding Humans: Fiona needs a family who won’t rush her, who will let her come out of her shell in her own time — with love, kindness, and zero pressure.
