Mrs. America A17330340 lb. spayed female, approx 2 1/2 years old -This sweet girl is an absolute gem!-We don’t know what she has endured in her past, but we’re hoping you’ll bring her into your family and give her a bright, loving future!-It appears from x-rays that she has an old fracture of her pelvis. She doesn’t seem to be in any pain and gets around just fine. She has a wonky gait which adds to her adorable personality! **Has had surgery on her knee. Will need a few weeks of restricted activity while it heals.-She won’t be running marathons, but she seems more of a snuggly, couch cuddler anyway!-Joint supplements would probably benefit her some-She walks great on a leash-She’s sweet and gentle-Loves to snuggle up for pets-Affectionate and gives kisses-Likes treats, sits and takes them gently-Not currently playing with toys-Not jumpy and has very good manners-Lower energy gal-A really good girl who deserves the best life!-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-3:30 BUT our adoptions are done 7 days a week from 10:30am -3:00pm. •The last potential adopter must arrive before 3:00 pm so we have time to properly help you before closing. **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
