My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, May 3rd from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $650 Logan – The Golden Bachelor You’ve Been Waiting For   Looking for love? Meet Logan, a dashing 7 year old Poodle mix with a heart of gold and a coat that won’t shed all over your black pants. That’s right—Logan is non-shedding, making him a great fit for allergy-friendly homes or anyone who prefers their throw pillows free of fur.   When Logan was rescued from the shelter, he was in desperate need of a spa day. Underneath that shaggy exterior was a total heartthrob just waiting to shine. He’s had his glow-up (hello, fresh shave!) and while his coat is growing back in, we know it’ll be soft, curly, and completely fabulous—just like the Poodle coat he was born to rock. Think: luxurious, fluff-worthy hair that’ll have strangers stopping you on the street to ask, “Who’s your groomer?”   Fun Poodle Fact: Poodles were bred to be both elegant and athletic—making them one of the smartest, most adaptable breeds out there. Logan lives up to the legacy: he’s equal parts snuggle buddy, walking partner, and personal comedian.   This 16-pound cuddle machine starts his day around 7:30–8am with breakfast and a potty break, then settles in for what he does best: being your number one fan. Whether you work from home, head into the office, or want a pup who can come with you to your dog-friendly workplace, Logan fits the bill. He’s calm and confident enough to snooze in a sunny office corner, yet independent enough to hang at home if you work long hours. He’s also a great candidate for apartment or condo living—no excessive barking, no chaos, just chill vibes and tail wags.   Crate-trained, potty pad familiar, and a total gem on leash, Logan is polite in public and perfect in private. He doesn’t live with other animals but is friendly with dogs and great with kids. He’ll gently paw your hand for more belly rubs or drop a toy in your lap to keep the good times rolling.   If you’re looking for a charming, low-maintenance companion with golden retriever-level heart in a Poodle package, Logan is lo-GO-ing to be scooped up fast.
