My story

Thunder is a handsome husky mix who takes a bit of time to trust, but with a little patience he just keeps making more new friends among our staff and walkers. He does enjoy the company of other dogs and has done well when paired with them on walks and in the kennel. Check out his photo with his pal, Big Oso in his bio area. He is a perfect dog for walks, hikes and runs. We`ve found that he loves the mountains, and if there is snow...well, all the better. He`ll do best in a new home that gives him a little time to adjust, and ideally a fenced yard to explore. He is energetic and will want for exercise. He may start out a little jumpy, but he`s very quick to learn and he has been a very good dog with people he has bonded with here at the shelter. We would not recommend a home with small children or small animals. Come on in and see Thunder`s gorgeous blue eyes!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Thunder, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
