Creed

My story

Creed is a timid and anxious dog who needs a patient and understanding adopter. While he tolerates handling, he remains distracted and mildly fearful, requiring a calm and quiet home where he can adjust at his own pace. He has shown no reactivity toward humans or dogs but has a history of reacting to small animals while on walks, which may require positive reinforcement training. Due to his fearfulness and potential anxiety, Creed would do best in an adult-only home where he is not forced into interactions and can gradually build confidence in a supportive environment.My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Creed was super sweet and does everything with a little bit of caution at first. Once he realizes he likes something he goes 100%. Creed loves to run and is super happy to go on long walks. He also does super well in the car.We went to Fairview Park and the nearby trail. Creed came bouncing out to meet us like he wasn't sure what to do, but settled into the happiest of trots fairly quickly. He pulls a little bit at times but walks very nicely on the leash. He loves treats and knows sit and paw. My favorite part of the whole day was when he was showing us how he can do those things and very half heartedly went to give me his paw before just deciding to tuck his head on my lap and nap. Creed snored like a puppy in the middle of the trail, gently stretching his big paws out for about 15 minutes. It was like he just needed a little rest. He enjoys making choices like where to go and how to interact with us. He seems to brighten in correlation to that as his confidence grows and is extraordinarily affectionate.
