Hi there, my name is Kimmy, and I’m a sweet and resilient 2-year-old female Boston Terrier, weighing just 10 lbs. I may be small, but my heart is full of hope. My journey hasn’t been easy. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Korea, where I had been abandoned and left with little chance of survival. Life there was frightening—cold cages, loud barking, and never knowing if tomorrow would come. But thanks to the incredible efforts of kind-hearted rescuers, I was pulled from that shelter just in time and given a second chance. Right now, I’m still in Korea, patiently waiting for my one-way ticket to Seattle and the forever family I’ve always dreamed of. I imagine what it might be like—soft beds, kind hands, and people who will love me just as I am. I’m a gentle, affectionate soul who adores being near people. I get along beautifully with gentle children, friendly dogs, and anyone with a loving heart. I’ve been through so much, and all I want now is to belong—to finally be someone’s beloved pup. Once I arrive, I’d love nothing more than to go on walks in the park, ride in the car with the windows down, and snuggle up on the couch after a long day of making memories. I will be your loyal companion, your best friend, your little shadow. A loving, patient home would be perfect for me—someone who understands that rescued dogs need time to adjust, and who will shower me with love and kindness as I bloom into my happiest self. My adoption fee is $1,995, which covers: My spay surgery DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines Deworming and Heartworm test Microchip Health certificate Boarding fees in Korea Airline transport to Seattle Please note that a GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs—you can bring your own or purchase one from us. We always do our best to estimate each dog’s age and breed, but we cannot guarantee these details. What we can guarantee is that Kimmy has the heart of a survivor and the soul of a sweetheart. We also highly recommend using our trusted pet rescue dog trainer to help ease the transition and set you both up for success. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and adoption fees are tax-deductible. All adoption fees go directly to rescuing more dogs like Kimmy and covering critical medical care for those in need. Donations are always appreciated to help pay down vet bills at Greenwood Vet.
