My story

Meet Sunny! | Apply to Adopt Me Found abandoned in royal Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, Sunny has made the journey to NYC ready to embrace her new life. This toasted marshmallow girlie is five years old and fully grown at around 40lbs. The perfect sized pup to take up the other side of your queen bed!Though she can be a little shy and aloof at first, she’s warming up quickly in her foster home. Slowly but surely showing interest in good sniffs and passing dogs on walks, she’ll thrive with a little patience. ♥ Toys are a mystery to be solved, and humans are quite interesting. Sunny happily follows her fosters around as they tend to chores, quietly and curiously observing as if she’ll update her diary later that night. Could you be the most interesting human in Sunny’s life? Better get your application in before her next event!   In celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, we're offering $88 off adoption fees for all Jindos with adoption fees over $450, now through June 2nd. Give a Jindo the chance to find their forever home. Come meet our adoptable dogs at this weekend’s Korean K9 Rescue events!   We’re kicking off June by joining Petco Love’s massive NYC Adoption Block Party at Union Square. This exciting outdoor event features hundreds of adoptable pets, music, activities, giveaways—and our adoption truck will be there with some of our incredible rescue pups.   Sunday, June 1st – Petco Love Adoption Event at Union Square Location: Union Square Park – North Plaza (Broadway & E 17th St) Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pre-approved adopters: 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM   The first 30 minutes of the event are reserved for pre-approved adopters. If you’re hoping to adopt, we encourage you to apply early for priority access.   Learn more about our adoption process: www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-procedures www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-faq   Korean K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit saving dogs from the Korean dog meat trade and overcrowded shelters.   Support our mission: • Donate: www.koreank9rescue.org/donate • Patreon: www.patreon.com/koreank9rescue ##2357972##
