My story

IDGSR Welcomes KING into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya! My name is King and I'm a sweet & handsome 8mo-1yr old male German Shepherd. I am located near Memphis TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 8 months-1yr old Kids - will do fine with kids over 8+ Dogs - good with other large breed dogs Cats - NO cats Training - needs standard obedience training 1. I was lost wandering around all alone on the streets of Memphis when a nice lady stopped and picked me up. 2. I have been enjoying getting lots of attention, yummy food, playing with toys, and sniffing all around the yard. 3. I have fairly high energy and need to be adopted by someone who will keep me active! I do love to cuddle but overall, I'd rather be exploring or playing. 4. I do well with other large breed dogs & think it would be great to have a female companion to play with! 5. I desperately want to bond to my person. I will follow you around and go anywhere you can take me! I promise to be loyal forever and your best friend. 6. I would benefit from obedience training. I am very smart & with some yummy treats, I'll catch on super quick! Training together will also help us bond. 7. If you are looking for a playful, energetic, friendly, resilient, loving, smart, & handsome new companion - I'm your guy! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
