My story

Longhair Adriana is beautiful to look at – such a gentle soul that is still learning to trust. When she’s confined to a crate, she can be petted and brushed, but when she is given free roaming in the house, she runs and hides. Her behavior stems from her early life spent in an outdoor enclosure with 8 other kittens. It was a scary, damp and dark world for several months. We rescued them all when they were adolescents. Adriana’s sibling Tessa has socialized beautifully, but Adriana still needs lots more TLC to become totally comfortable. Her ideal home will be quiet with cat savvy folks who will give her the time she needs to adjust. In her foster home she’s allowed outside into the fenced-in yard – she loves that…so her foster mom would consider a home which allows safe in/out access for her or even a safe, clean barn home. She is now fully vetted, tested negative, and microchipped.
