Tessa

My story

Tri-color calico Tessa and her lovely longhair sister Adriana are a beautiful bonded pair. They were born to a feral mom and lived the first 10 months of their lives in an outdoor enclosure covered by tarps. Naturally, it has taken them time to adjust to their new, safe indoor life with regular meals, clean bedding, cat trees near windows to see the sunlight, and a very attentive foster mom giving them lots of love. They already walk around their foster home with happy tails. They have started to play with toys and come close for pets when treats are being offered. They have relaxed a lot but still need more TLC to be completely comfortable. They are sweet and shy with absolutely no aggression. They are very tidy girls, use their litterboxes with no issues at all. Their ideal home is with patient, savvy cat people who understand that cats like these precious girls need a bit longer to adjust. They cannot expect them to be instant lap kitties on day one. Patience, calmness, and quiet surroundings will be just what is needed to help them blossom and build trust. They never met dogs and busy noisy households with small children would not be a match for them. And their foster mom will only adopt to true non-smokers and non-vapers.
