My story

This boy with the incredible ears is Anakin! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 4/2, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. Anakin is now keeping his paws crossed for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Anakin as very sweet, playful, and attentive to the people around him. He had a little hair loss when he came to the shelter, but he's looking great now! If Anakin sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet him! Anakin is an adult dog weighing 39 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Anakin is waiting patiently in run 410; his ID # is 9061. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
