Tito

My story

Tito is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 3 years old and weighs 37 pounds. We rescued him from a shelter near the border of Mexico. He had a collar that was never changed and he still has scars from that experience. He has been with us for a year and is now ready for his own home. He does have a warm-up period when meeting new people. Once he knows you will be kind, he loves to get attention and affection. Coming from the environment he was in previously, it is apparent that he wasn’t handled very much so he just needs time to trust and know that he is in a safe space. He needs a safe yard, with a collar and harness until he feels safe and comfortable. He gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue and would benefit from another dog in the home. He would do best in a calm and patient home without small children where he can acclimate to new surroundings and learn to trust. He is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call his own! We are located in Hondo, TX. This dog is available for transport to Gettysburg, PA on August 23rd, (GotchaDay!) with approved application and confirmed adoption! Adoption fee is $450 including transportation costs.
