My story

Meet Smokey – the lovable pup with a heart full of hope and a tail that never stops wagging! Currently being cared for at our rescue in Oklahoma, Smokey is searching for a forever home in a state where animals are truly cherished. He must be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed below. If, for any reason, things don’t work out, Smokey will return safely to Oklahoma on our next scheduled transport. Smokey is a handsome, possibly Lab/Terrier mix, estimated to have just turned a year old (July 29th). Here’s a little more about this charming boy: With us since November 2024, and he’s been a favorite ever since Exceptionally social and affectionate—he truly loves to be loved Gets along well with other dogs and would probably do best with another canine pal in the home. No food aggression or aggression of any kind Full of playful energy—he’d thrive with a fenced yard and an active family to keep him company Sweet, joyful temperament—we believe he’d be wonderful with children Weighs around 35-40 pounds Knows how to walk on a leash Crate trained at night, no accidents! He is heartworm negative and on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. A health certificate and vet exam will be completed within 10 days prior to transport.
