My story

Meet Ziggy! Ziggy is the sweetest, silliest Chi you’ll ever meet. For such a little guy, he has a HUGE personality. He’s around 10 years old, but that doesn’t stop him from looking at life with the utmost curiosity. You’d think everyone he meets (both humans and dogs) is the first one he’s ever seen. Whether it’s a roller skater on the Strand in Manhattan Beach, a pack of runners on the sidewalk, or a huge dog in a yard, Ziggy greets each one with perked ears and a tail wag. At home, this little grandpa loves to snuggle. He sleeps soundly through the night in either his crate or his foster mom’s bed. He wakes up in the morning eager to see the world-but not before sneaking a kiss and a quick hop onto HIS bed on the way to the door. Ziggy is working on perfecting his house training; he definitely knows he’s supposed to do his business outside, but every so often he sneaks in a leg lift to keep his foster mom on her toes. He gets along with his foster sister, is great on a leash, has no separation anxiety, is not a barker, and is a confident little dude who LOVES dogs of all sizes. He does well with children and takes treats gently. A true older gentleman with many good years left to experience, Ziggy is a laid-back yet fun-loving joy who will make the absolute best sidekick and companion.
