My story

Espresso is a calm and relaxed cat who loves to spend his days lounging around. Reason for Foster: Chronic kidney disease, Ringworm Foster Time Frame: 3+ Weeks (The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Espresso is being treated for ringworm, a common fungal skin infection. Since he is contagious, we recommend that he is housed separately from other pets in a spare room that is easy to clean (without upholstered furniture or carpet). Be sure to wash your hands and change clothing after interacting with him to prevent spread.This sweet boy is also being monitored for chronic kidney disease. He will go to foster with medication, need twice a week lime sulfur dips, and a special diet. We will provide supplies and a medical consultation at your pickup appointment so you are ready to take great care of this sweet boy! Foster to Adopt: Espresso is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
