My story

What do four leaf clovers, shooting stars, the number 7, and a 5-year-old labrador retriever living at Pima Animal Care Center have in common? They are all considered lucky! Well, our pup isn’t just considered lucky, he’s also named Lucky! In his former home Lucky was reported to be an affectionate and playful, Velcro dog who likes car rides and was good with small children. Unfortunately, he spent most of his time outdoors, so he is looking for a patient family who will include him in their indoor lives and work on good indoor doggy skills like crate and housetraining. Here’s what some of Lucky’s friends at the shelter said:“I was able to leash Lucky and exit the kennel without difficulty. Lucky walked very well on leash and was unbothered by passing dogs. When we stopped, he would lean against me or sit between my feet. He’s a very sweet, calm dog.”“Lucky is very sweet. A calm guy who likes his people more than anything.”Lucky would like to meet any resident pups before heading home to ensure a good fit.
