My story

Are you a cat lover who appreciates a cat who is more of a slow burn? A cat who may be a bit unsure about you at first, but can be won over with a little time and patience? There is no greater feeling in the world that when the cat who was once hissing at you, now runs up to you for pets. That's Basil. Inside his tough guy exterior is just a guy that's yearning for a person to be his companion. Basil was understandably not happy to be in a shelter after being in a home for most of his life, but he has come around and enjoys the finer things in life - a warm lap, a delicious Churu treat, or a good play session with a wand toy. This handsome fella has his boundaries, but don't we all? Once you earn his trust, he'll be loyal to you forever.
