LOKI

My story

Fans of the Marvel Universe have seen the character Loki’s progression from a truly selfish trickster to a deity with much more heart and compassion for others. It seems he will always retain a little bit of his mischievous nature, but his heart has grown by leaps and bounds! We have a very good boy named Loki who also has a BIG HEART! Loki lived with his former family for two years and they told us so many great things about him! They reported that he was good with young children, good with cats, was house trained, affectionate, playful, and loved cuddles. Volunteers at the shelter love spending time with this gorgeous brindle guy, sharing:“Today was my first day meeting Loki and he was SO FUN! He was friendly and we went over to a play yard where he showed me that he loves to play ball and he trades the ball nicely for treats. We tried some of the agility tasks. He did a nice job of weaving his body in and out of the weave poles. We tried going up the A-frame but he was a little unsure of that one. He jumped over the single bar jump and went through the tire jump. After we played for a few minutes, I crouched down next to him and he rolled right over for belly rubs. He`s a great, affectionate, sweet guy!” “Loki is super friendly, walks well on leash, and LOVES playing in the water. I adore him and he is such a fun companion!!” Loki has been tolerant, social and playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup and lived with other dogs in his former home. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before going to his new home to ensure a good fit. Loki can’t wait to settle back in with a family where he can enjoy the simple things like daily snuggles, walks and love. Are you ready to welcome this amazing boy into your home?
