My story

Meet Bubba, a 4–5-year-old Australian Shepherd who’s as loyal and loving as they come. Bubba was surrendered through no fault of his own—his previous family had more dogs than they could properly care for and wanted to ensure he had the chance to be in a home where he could get the attention and affection he deserves. It was a heartbreaking decision, but one made with Bubba’s best interest at heart. Now, he’s looking for a forever home where he can truly be part of the family. Bubba is the total package. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children. He’s even spent time around farm animals and handled it all with calm curiosity and ease. He has a friendly nature and loves being around people. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch or greeting visitors with a wagging tail, Bubba’s affectionate personality shines through. He bonds quickly and is happiest when he’s by your side—he’s the kind of dog that wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. As a typical Aussie, Bubba is smart, alert, and energetic. He thrives with structure, mental stimulation, and regular exercise. He would do great in an active home where he can have daily walks, playtime, or even a job to do—he’s the kind of dog who loves to learn and will excel with continued training. His intelligence and eagerness to please make him incredibly trainable, and he’s already got a solid foundation.
