My story

Boxer-Mastiff mix Potato is just a soft, sensitive guy trapped in the body of a large dog. While he can be shy at first, he opens up quickly and loves affection and attention. When he wants to connect with you, he puts his paws on your lap and leans in for pets. Walks easily on a loose leash, enjoying the smells and interesting things along the way. Is a real sweetheart and deserves a loving, stable home.Treat-motivated, patient, pays attention to his person, and sits on command. Potato will be an incredible addition for someone who can provide the leadership and love that this soulful, gentle giant needs.As Kevin, one of our wonderful volunteers, says on his Nextdoor video:`Potato says - just get me outta hereâ&#194&#128¦ He has been here too long, and he thinks it is because he has been given such a silly name. He is totally up for a name change and a loving home. HE IS A GOOD DOG.` All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
