My story

Brock was found hobbling through the streets of Woodland last December. At first we thought he was injured but it turned out he was missing multiple toes on his front paws, likely since birth. Veterinarians determined that his foot condition does not cause him any pain as long as he has soft enough surfaces to rest on. At the shelter, the concrete floor of his kennel and the gravel paths were so hard on his feet. But luckily, this three-year-old Heeler mix landed a wonderful foster home with one of our amazing volunteers. He began to thrive! His favorite activities are sunbathing, playing fetch with a soft frisbee, and going on short neighborhood walks. He's also an expert-level cuddler!In Brock's dream home he'd be the spoiled, only pet. He's already potty-trained and so well-behaved in the house. Overall, he's very low-maintenance! This sweet boy deserves to be pampered in a loving forever home.His adoption fee is sponsored by Blue Note Brewing Company and includes the cost of his neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
